First International Ayurveda Congress in Klagenfurt

In collaboration with the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and with the support of Embassy of India in Austria, the Austrian Association for Ayurveda and the Carinthian Chamber of Commerce are organized the First International Ayurveda Congress in Austria. Dated at 1st an 2nd Oktober 2010 the congress took place at Klagenfurt on the lake Wörthersee.

This Ayurveda Congress in Klagenfurt was of great significance. European medical practitioners and Ayurvedic practitioners from all over the world met to discuss the possibilities of reciprocal enrichment for these two spheres. In particular, the congress explored the benefits that could arise for European medicine through the integration of Ayurveda knowledge.
